Over 40 years of experience in the field of mental health having worked with chronically mentally ill in day treatment, crisis intervention and suicide hotline and in private practice since 1989. Having worked with individuals, families and groups for many years, I have recently begun doing some teaching/training of Self-Acceptance Training.Specialties: My emphasis is in Self-Acceptance training as developed by Cherie McCoy, Richard Olney and Don Shmauz. This model is a combination and reconfiguration of Bioenergetics, Gestalt, hynosis and other therapies. Bioenergetics was develped by Alexander Lowen and it focuses on the body, understanding the body to be the roadmap to the unconscious and stored memory.
