I’ve been a lifelong teacher and a lifelong learner. I have a passion for learning new things and teaching them to others. I enjoy technology, and programming, and have a knack for quickly picking up new programming languages. My extensive experience gives me a unique blend of skills and talents, and I can bring context and understanding to a broad set of issues. It allows me, by nature, to collaborate with others effectively and to problem-solve at expert levels with empathy and care.My knowledge, combined with my talent for relaying technical information in easy-to-understand ways for those without the “tech gene,” enables me to connect with others to help them overcome challenges, and establish enough trust to where they feel comfortable asking questions.I have spent the last three years tutoring computer programming, online including Python, Visual Basic, Java, C++, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript to college students and other adult learners. In addition, I homeschooled my children. With this experience, I sought out and created curriculum that was best suited to their learning. I’m currently completing a master's degree in information systems management with a concentration in information security that will be obtained in July of 2023.Through experience, academics, and self-study, some specific skills that I’ve acquired are:
