A self-starter and results-oriented researcher with over 9 years of progressive experience in cell/molecular biology and biomedical research fields. My research focuses on unraveling the targets of chemicals and drugs using multi-disciplinary high and low-throughput approaches. I leverage advanced bioinformatic analysis such as functional enrichment and network analysis to gain deeper insights into the functional significance of identified targets in the context of biological pathways and processes. I seek to utilize my solid background in molecular/cell biology and innovative genomic/proteomic approaches in a practical setting. Particularly, I aim to investigate the molecular mechanisms underpinning human diseases, thereby aiding in the discovery of promising therapeutic targets.

Research AssistantUniversity Of Isfahan Jun 2015 - Oct 2015My collaboration with Dr. asadollahi, my supervisor, was not limited to my master’s research: After graduation, I continued to work with him as a research assistant. My work was mostly in the areas of synthetic biology, manipulating the key metabolic steps of the mevalonate (MVA) pathway and producing natural products by engineered microbes. I have been involved in two projects, dynamic control of gene expression in Saccharomyces cerevisiae engineered for the production of plant monterpen linalool and, heterologous production of kiwi linalool synthase gene in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. These projects involved using different techniques such as cloning, heterologous protein expression, metabolic engineering, and some biochemical methods. During these projects, I have learned many new techniques, which can be very useful in my future research.
