I am a cloud robotics engineer at Advanced Navigation, a leading provider of autonomous navigation systems and intelligent sensors. With over 20 years of software engineering experience in the video industry, I have a strong background in cloud platforms, distributed systems, code optimization, and video codecs.At Advanced Navigation, I design and extend the plug-in framework that enables third parties to develop custom apps for drone fleets, such as live mapping, optical detection, and offline map generation. I also architect the video solution that facilitates low-latency video streaming over the public internet. In my previous role, I led and mentored a task force of four engineers, delivering high-quality and scalable products that met the diverse needs of our customers. I am passionate about developing innovative solutions for IoT applications, leveraging my public cloud (k8s), system programming and software architecture skills.Additionally, I've had the privilege of mentoring over 30 junior professionals for including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
