I received a summer reseach scholarship through the Va'aomanu Pasifika - Pacific Studies and Samoan Studies department. I explored the theoretical scope of a Pacific Jurisprudence. I submitted a comprehensive annotated bibliography of literature sources directly relevant to the field of Pacific jurisprudence. Put together a comprehensive list of names/titles and contact details for academics, legal professionals and community service personnel currently working in fields of relevance to Pacific jurisprudence theorists. I submitted an 8000 word essay based on the literature I researched during the summer. There were three main areas of focus: the existence or recognition of Human Rights in the South Pacific; gender and sexuality; and intellectual property.

A part time role during my studies where I was the web content administrator for the Vice Chancellor (Pasifika) Hon Luamanuvao Winnie Laban. I updated the web content on the 'Pasifika at Vic' web page which is accessible from the main University's homepage.
