As a career and mental health professional Peg Geissler is affliated with The Center For Marriage and Family Counseling with offices in Freehold and Matawan. Through assessment, discovery, counseling, and guidance, Peg has created a system to help individuals seamlessly transition to new environments and situations.After earning a B.A. in Sociology from Kean University and an M.A. in Counseling from Montclair State University, Peg began working as a Counselor and Corporate Trainer in 1993 for JVS, a nonsectarian agency. In addition to managing an extensive individual client base, Peg provided group training for some of the largest healthcare, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, manufacturing, and service organizations in the region. With accounts such as AT&T, Alcatel-Lucent, and Mountainside Hospital, Peg soon developed a reputation as a top educator and counselor.In 1999, Peg formed a partnership with a major corporation that still exists today. As a Counselor and Trainer for “The Alliance,” a non-profit organization sponsored and supported by Alcatel-Lucent, Peg travels throughout New Jersey to facilitate the Life-Work Planning Program.Peg founded Concepts in Counseling, Inc. in 2001 to provide clients with the tools and resources to facilitate life transitions. She has helped hundreds of people from diverse backgrounds overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges, adapt to changing circumstances, and achieve personal fulfillment.Peg also conducts numerous career and business training workshops for outside companies and organizations. She has been recognized by the local media including News 12 New Jersey, the Asbury Park Press, and the Star Ledger.From 2002 to 2005, Peg shared her counseling talents with people affected by the 9/11 tragedy.
