Retired as Vice President of Patient Care Services at Columbus Community Hospital. Responsibilities were leadership, staff development, and oversight of patient care staff in the areas of Med/Surg, ICU, ER/UC, OR, OB, Pharmacy, Lab, Radiology, Infection Control, and Quality/Risk Management. Participated in the first virtual TCAB project sponsored by AONE and RWJ. In addition, involved in the planning and completion of a major addition of a new Med/Surg unit and renovation of the lab and OB departments. Actively involved with Medical staff through Medical Staff Meetings, communication, and teamwork. Organization recognized as one of the top hospitals for organ/tissue donation. Completed successful Joint Commission Accreditation Surveys. Involved in the conversion to EPIC as part of the implementation of an EMR.

Taught in the MSN program. Developed and implemented the Leadership in Healthcare track, predominently online, at the graduate nursing level. Also taught courses in Nursing Education track and core courses as part of the nursing education, leadership, and nurse practitioner tracks.

Director of a multi-specialty regional clinic. Oversight of clinic and clinic staff. Involved in system-wide changes related to departmental alignment with the main clinic. Expanded the role of the Medical Assistant and Case Management. Involved in the hiring of new physicians and clinic staff. Joint leadership with the Medical Director of the clinic with responsibilities for clinic and financial operations. Instrumental in the planning of clinic expansion. Successful in first ever Joint Commission Accreditation of the clinic.

Managed the Orthopedic/Gynecology unit. Involved in various initiatives such as role redesign, implementation of nursing case management, AONE's Center for Nursing, Bereavement Training, and Leadership Development.
