I am passionate about working with people to create vibrant communities, safeguard special natural environments, enable access to outdoor recreation and sustain strong economies.I have extensive experience facilitating and coordinating workshops and leadership training programs on a wide range of topics.As an environmental scientist I have worked with Indigenous governments, provincial and territorial governments, non-profit organizations and industry on a variety of projects related land use planning and integrated resource management. I have completed projects on recreation management planning, climate change, management of cumulative effects, land and resource use modeling, environmental externalities and socio-economic benefits and impacts associated with resource use development. Additional work experience is in public affairs, community development and education. I hold a Master's in Environmental Design and BA in International Development from the University of Calgary with a specialization in northern planning and development from the Arctic Institute of North America.
