Specifically:o Applied a structured decision making (SDM) approach and coordinating interdepartmental working group and external planning advisory group input on the scope, objectives, strategies, actions, monitoring and governance of the recreation management plan.o Developed and implemented the Aboriginal, stakeholder and public engagement approach.o Managed the development and verification of the GIS-based recreation resources inventory and the application of the Water and Land Recreation Opportunity Spectrum Model.o Researched and applied best practices in recreation management planning, including recreation trail and site planning, visitor use management, and plan monitoring and evaluation.Team member on the development of the GNWT’s Land Use Planning Policy Framework, and GNWT’s Guidelines for the Development and Approval of Land Use Plans. Lead project manager for three annual territorial land use planning forums bringing together representatives from territorial, federal and Aboriginal governments and organizations and land use planning agencies.Core team member on GNWT's negotiation team for Thaidene Nene: a proposed national and territorial park in the East Arm of Great Slave Lake.Contributed to Land Use Planning Program financial and administrative reporting.
