Recently, Willow Park Wines & Spirits was honoured with a nomination by Market Watch Magazine, New York, as Market Leader 2020.In 2016 with the change in consumer habits and the desire to develop a younger consumer, we successfully launched On-line sales with program growth of over 200% each fiscal. We have experiencing a 600% increase in sales monthly with new services that have been implemented during these Covid times.Social Media marketing was our primary focus for increasing consumer reach and sales since 2017, replacing print advertising except during the holiday season. Tastings and educational programming is the most extensive in a liquor beverage environment in Canada. As an accredited Wine & Spirits Education Trust Location, we provide Sommelier Certification to over 1000 trade and regular consumers each year. With Covid19, we have moved to offering this certification on-line with huge success.Three times yearly the Willow Park Wines & Spirits Event Magazine is produced with new and exciting programs offered and customer favourites revisited. This 60 page magazine includes recipes and offers to travel with "The Trusted Experts", taking the learning out of the classroom environment. Currently WPWS is a teaching center for the world renowned Wines & Spirits Education Trust. I have developed advertising programs for all levels of media - writing, designing and launching successful print, radio and television campaigns. In 1999 I co-founded Corkscrew Media and over the next 8 years, wrote, produced, acted in and promoted to broadcasters over 200 TV shows about wine, beer and spirits.In creating the “Trusted Expert” brand I cemented the concept that WPWS employees are the source for all things wine, beer and spirit related.In 2007 I launched the first of many travel programs to the vineyards. Created a television production company that focused on TV shows about the world of wine, beer and spirits. Successfully sought government and private business funding to finance over 200 -30 minute shows shot in Canada, California, France, Italy, New Zealand and Australia. Worldwide distribution in 52 countries was achieved.

Worked with 3 private wine boutiques to create business plans and facilitate opening of new stores.

Worked with Peter Sichel owner of Maison Sichel to streamline sales and marketing in Canada, coordinating National programs with all provincial agents and liquor boards. Travelled to most Canadian provinces and became familiar with each provinces different rules and regulations for alcohol sales.

Assisted in the opening of one of Alberta's first privately owned wine boutiques. Created curriculum for wine education classes. Sold wine to retail and wholesale accounts. Returned to J. Webb after a year in Bordeaux to a similar role - September 1987 to August 1988.
