About Peggy Noble

I was in the Meetings & Events industry for 13 years, starting as an in-house Senior Meeting Planner for Novartis Pharmaceuticals in 2001, and in 2005 going on to be a freelance Event Planner. I organised meetings all over Europe, the USA, Australia and the UK, and have an extensive knowledge of all aspects of Meeting & Event Planning, from Venue Sourcing & Contract Negotiation to Post-Event Reconciliation, including Onsite Support, DMC Management, Travel Management and Budgeting.In 2009 I was part of a team of 3 who created and successfully launched LogiPlan Global Meetings & Events, an event management boutique agency based in the UK and the USA. This was a very rewarding experience but being busy with 3 children, a business travelling husband, a dog, the need of being home based, I needed to go back to the drawing board... Giving my Events career a break and wanting to diversify/expand my knowledge by learning something new, I completed a Proofreading & Editorial Skills course with Chapterhouse Publishing.In 2015, I had an opportunity to "go back to school" and joined the Support Staff team at Cambourne Village College; a job which gave me the flexibility I needed for my children and their busy lives. I quickly progressed onto the role of Educational Visits Coordinator and was also appointed DofE Admin and Coordinator for the College in January 2018. Soon after, I also took on the role of DofE Manager. A very rewarding experience, but this made my easy flexible job not so flexible and my work life balance slightly off...Six years later, when an opportunity presented itself to be part of a start up company, I decided to rise up to the challenge and joined Elite Conveyancing, a local property law firm. After a successful two and a half years as a Client Manager/Onboarding Specialist, with remortgage conveyancing added to my skillset along the way, but in need of a change, I found myself back in the pharma industry, being given this amazing opportunity to join a team of brilliant people at the Sandoz Device and Development Centre in Cambridge, and I am now very much looking forward to an exciting future there...
