I provide advising services to over 600 first-time, re-admitted, and transfer students for the School of Business, Accounting and Business Administration program majors. Specifically, I work collaboratively with faculty advisors and student services staff to proactively, insure students successfully achieve their educational goals. This includes completion of, Individual Academic Plans (IAP), Early Warning Alerts, Financial Aid Appeals, Career assessment and other special accomodations referrals. I also provide general, in-take advising for all program majors for first-year students.

Legacy Lines is a small business providing products and services to assist "Baby Boomers" with developing a living-loving legacy. I serve as a personal historian and manage the project design team overseeing projects such as life story writing, personal/professional portfolio development and event planning.

Developed, coordinated and implemented fundraising events and activities. Also responsible for recruiting and cultivating volunteer and financial support for fundraising events and initiatives.

Coordinated academic/transfer advising for Student Support Services program serving over 200 first-generation college students. In collaboration with student services and career center staff I developed education development plans for each student. I was also responsbile for advising and overseeing student life program at the Betrand Crossing campus for 400 students. Additionally, I served as an admissions specialist and recruited students from 12 area high schools. I provided workshops for parents of juniors and seniors on how to choose a college and apply for financial aid. I also provided on-site academic advising at the high schools for college seniors.

Responsible for planning, developing, marketing and managing 100's of personal and professional development workshops and seminars for the general public. Also responsible for re-designing and coordinating the Community Leadership Academy and developing the Campus Kids Summer program. I also conducted needs assessments and coordinated on-site customized training for business and industry clients.

Designed, developed and managed the AUSCO Learning Center. Specifically, I assessed the training and development needs of 250 salaried and hourly employees and monitoried their progress via personalized development plans. Additionally, I provided career guidance and coordinated enrollment opportunites at the plant for employees seeking to complete a college degree program. I also partnered with the Twin Cities Area Literacy Council to provide on-site volunteers to assist employees enrolled in the company's basic skills initiative.

Responsible for designing, developing and managing adult education programs at multiple sites including: Lakeshore High School, Bendix Automotive and the district's Training and Literacy center located in an area strip mall. Additionally, I managed 25 full and part-time staff and provided academic and career advising to adult students obtaining their GED and/or high school diploma. Additionally the center provided ESL programs and basic skills training in partnership with the Twin Cities Area Literacy Council. The Literacy Center also provided on-site childcare for day-time students.
