This job requires extensive knowledge in the use of medical terminology and proper grammatical usage and syllabus. Transcribing priority documents in a timely manner to meet specific deadlines. Good communication skills in a professional manner in dealing with authors in regards to questions pertaining to dictation. Knowledge of the use of prescription medications pertaining to medical and/or psychiatric necessity and also non-prescription medications. Answering telephones and taking messages.
