I was hooked! And right then, I decided I would study electrical engineering. I hope for the same kind of opportunities for all young women -- the opportunity to learn, to be inspired and empowered. One such organization which helps young women to explore the broad spectrum of careers -- in science, engineering, the trades & technology -- is Techsploration. I had the absolute honor to be profiled on their website, a number of years ago. My profile might be a bit dated (maybe I'm a bit dated!), but my message is as true and relevant as ever.
