NACoA offers resources for everyone, including providing support for professionals with tools and training in order to better support individuals in pain due to alcohol and drug dependency in their families. The organization offers a variety of programs and products uniquely designed to offer support and assist you at home or in the workplace. NACoA is the only national membership organization focusing on the children of parents struggling with alcohol or substance abuse.

Inner Direction Recovery provides counseling, group work and coaching services that are focused on building resilience. Our hope is to provide all family members with an opportunity to be part of a healing recovery process. I provide administrative and technical support to the organization, as well as consultation and education on children impacted by addiction, grief and bereavement issues, group process delivery and workshop design.

Heartache2Hope (H2H) is a non-profit, charitable organization that provides support, education, and healing resources for people who have experienced a loss due to suicide. H2H utilizes a community-based, collaborative approach and offers a variety of services to meet the unique needs of families after a suicide death. H2H offers training and education on traumatic bereavement. The Betty Ford Center, now part of the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, is a world-renowned addiction treatment centre that offers a variety of programs for patients, family members and professionals. It is one of the few Treatment Centers in the nation that provides a program for young children, ages 7-12, living in families impacted by addiction. My responsibilities as a facilitator, trainer and consultant for the Children's Program Training Academy included the following:• Designed and implemented comprehensive training programs for organizations and professionals, specializing in the design and implementation of programs for children and families impacted by addiction.• Provided consultation on supervisory skills, performance improvement, program evaluation and planning and development. • Provided education to mental health-care professionals through hands-on training, coaching, and supervision around clinical and programming issues.• Designed program and training curriculum and training materials. Conducted needs assessments and program evaluation. Provided written and verbal feedback and recommendations to senior leadership.

Provided supervisory leadership for client care, program development, and strategic planning for continued growth and expansion of services. Implemented training initiatives, process and quality improvements, and enhanced organizational and program performance and development. Facilitated four day, intensive, educational programs and weekly aftercare support groups for teens and young children who are living with addiction in the family.

Developed and delivered a new pilot program for children experiencing anticipatory grief.Organized and coached volunteer staff. Assessed, designed and modified training for diverse groups of volunteer employees in collaboration with program staff.

Developed training for new employees on treatment planning, quality improvement and compliance issues in collaboration with the leadership team. Conducted needs assessment, treatment planning and group facilitation for adolescents struggling with homelessness, substance abuse and mental health problems.
