Independent Contract Recruiter and HR Consultant 2003 to 2010Assisted companies, primarily Tesser, with their recruiting and broader HR functions as an outside consultant. Responsibilities included overseeing the entire lifecycle of hiring new talent from strategizing on personnel needs to sourcing and interviewing to helping with on-boarding. While mostly focused on hiring, other HR consulting included benefits and compensation strategies, personnel files, HR liability exposure, employee handbooks updates, employee relations and properly handled terminations. Human Resources Director 1999 to 2003Responsible for recruiting, hiring, firing/staff adjustments, new employee orientation, employee relations, legal coordination, benefit administration, etc. Developed and managed human resources processes and assets, including insurance benefit packages, employee handbook, employee and contractor contracts, 401K plan, performance reviews, utilization charts, vacation accrual charts, personnel files, etc. Client Services Manager 2000 to 2003Once HR processes were in place and recruiting was sporadic, had bandwidth to also act as main point of contact for clients; liaison between clients and internal development teams especially focused on website design and development. Responsible for tracking and managing all aspects of individual projects including budget, schedule, deliverables, and communication. Client satisfaction and retention was key. Responsibilities also included pursuing and closing new business from current and prospective clients as well as determining utilization and scheduling of the Boulder design/production teams. Projects managed include design and production of new websites (front and backend), corporate identity, advertising campaigns, sales collateral, multimedia presentations, email marketing campaigns and other marketing and communications programs.
