Served as a direct report to the Plant Manager, in a high-speed manufacturing aluminum can ends plant that produces 19M can ends per day, with responsibilities that included:• Developed and maintained an effective Quality System including policy implementation, determined the proper sample size and frequency for quality checks, daily reporting of Quality Assurance (QA) compliance, and writing / training of Standard Operating Procedures.• Infinity QS Quality system administrator.• Drove the plants Continuous Process Improvement Program. This included starting a Business Excellence Steering Team, and the chartering, training and support of all process improvement teams including SMED, Spoilage Reduction, TPM.• Responsible for writing, conducting, analyzing and reporting on all potential process changes thru the use of Design of Experiments tools and statistical methods. Designed and implemented a Statistical Process Control system, improved and maintained gauging systems.• Designed and was system administer of a Document Management System including writing of Standard Operating Procedures and training of 22 management personnel responsible for document reviews. • Setup and administered the plants maintenance program in JD Edwards Maintenance. • Worked with corporate and 16+ other plant locations in the development and maintenance of Quality Systems.• Maintained and provided project updates to the Infinity QS Quality system for 16+ locations both in the US and abroad. • Provided Quality Systems support for Monterrey Mexico and Infinity upgrades for Lublin Poland plant startup of new modules.• Led statistical support in the development of new products.

This effort was a key factor in Gainesville becoming the highest quality, lowest cost end plant in North America. • Customer service representative for 4 major Anheuser Busch Breweries and 7 Beverage Customers.• Quality Systems Administrator: maintained quality lab and all lab equipment associated with repair, maintenance, and calibration certifications. • On the Job Training, Master Trainer: ensured training material was developed for all processes and support positions. Trained 12 team members to be OJT trainers for their production teams.
