Peggy Ohlhaver, Ed.D., is the Sr. Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Pacific Premier Bank (PPB). Mrs. Ohlhaver serves on the executive team that has grown PPB to become one of the largest banks headquartered in the western region of the United States. In her current role as Sr. EVP and Chief Human Resources Officer at Pacific Premier, Mrs. Ohlhaver is a member of the senior executive management team, where she uses her demonstrated leadership ability, broad experience, diverse perspectives, and the ability to exercise sound business judgment to collaborate with fellow C-suite industry leaders in the formulation and execution of PPB strategic plan. Peggy is currently serving on the Board of Directors of OneOC and Pacific Bankers' Management Institute Board of Directors.Mrs. Ohlhaver has had full accountability to the Board of Directors and the Compensation Committee for all executive compensation, labor compliance, DEI, human capital management, the social pillar of ESG, and payroll in multiple industries. She has experience managing all aspects of executive compensation, including responding to institutional shareholder services on executive compensation issues and leading teams in developing the CD&A in multiple proxies, employment agreements, and CIC agreements.As a culture guardian, Mrs. Ohlhaver has developed enterprise-wide competency-based values and created a culture that cultivates an inclusive environment through diversity and inclusion initiatives. Her D&I programs are designed to focus on data, recruitment, training and education, and career development. She has endeavored to provide employees with career growth opportunities instead of jobs through the proactive development of career pathing and advancement. Mrs. Ohlhaver has implemented high-potential, leadership, technical learning and development programs, and succession plans as she prepares her organizations for the future of work. As the human capital transaction lead for over 15 acquisitions, Mrs. Ohlhaver has developed human capital M&A processes that have enhanced capabilities in due diligence, definitive agreement analysis, change management, and the facilitation of acculturation and integration of acquired organizations. She is a versatile leader with domestic and international business experience, having led a team in establishing a new international office in Warsaw, Poland, expanding the company’s footprint. In addition, she has experience developing organizational effectiveness models for staffing levels to optimize business outcomes.
