I am an ambitious, resilient and dedicated individual studying Marketing, Business Analytics and Apparel Merchandising at Indiana University Bloomington.My unwavering love for communication and design, has drawn me towards luxury marketing all my life. As a ballet dancer and theatre artist, my love for performing arts has been consistent. Marketing as a field spoke to me because of my perspective towards the field. With communication being the heart of marketing, I perceive it as the performing arts of the real world. This has drawn me towards marketing and makes me confident in my ability to do the field justice. Over my high school years I was the head of marketing and social media for an online newspaper, and the social media campaign manager for an NGO based in Bangalore. These experiences deepened my passion for marketing and helped me gain a better perspective with regard to the industry. During the summer break after my freshman year, I interned with a company's marketing department for 3 months. This internship taught me a lot about marketing, client interactions, office presentations and helped elevate my theoretical knowledge to a more practical understanding.I am an eager learner, committed student, and passionate individual looking to learn more about marketing and fashion.
