He also oversees NEMA's strategic planning activities to position NEMA and electrical manufacturers for long-term success and sustainability.Patrick directs the NEMA Campaigns program to coordinate the electroindustry's response to today's opportunities and challenges, including the energy transition, supply chain, and infrastructure.With expertise in energy technology and policy—including energy efficiency, renewable energy, electrification, electricity transmission and distribution, grid modernization and smart grid, energy storage, building codes and standards, high-performance buildings, climate science and policy, energy finance, electricity markets, and utility business models—Patrick has been sought out as an expert witness, conference presenter, and published author.
