Our AI model selects loads based on criteria including rate, schedule, and fuel costs to automatically find the best shipments for fleet owners and provide drivers with pickup and dropoff instructions. We help carriers reduce costs by automating repetitive tasks and increase revenue by improving load selection.

NaviData is an air travel logistics bid optimization tool that increased air travel savings by 15% for large enterprises. The technology solved for optimal negotiation strategy by running simulations on potential discount scenarios.

CabinFly works to form strategic partnerships between businesses with high air travel spend and airlines.

PASH Ventures is a bootstrapped startup that built and released a location recommendation mobile app (www.trapezemobile.com) that uses machine learning algorithms. The app was released for both iOS and Android platforms. My role is primarily focused on product and includes user research, product vision/roadmaps, feature prioritization, and assigning development tasks to team members. I drive a weekly release cadence with consistent introduction of new features and improvements that have included new APIs to display more popular events, social sharing, user generated taglines, improved performance with new recommendation algorithms, tutorial screens, and progressive sign-up forms. I have also contributed in hands-on development work on an ad-hoc basis, which has included rapid prototyping and a UX rewrite in React Native as well as back-end development in Django (Python) on AWS, Heroku, and Firebase.

At Morgan Stanley I was a Director in an internal Global Sourcing organization that had firmwide responsibility. My role was focused on the planning and execution of strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency.I owned a multi-year initiative and led ad-hoc teams tasked with analyzing spending to identify savings opportunities across the organization. I identified and investigated spending anomalies and tracked ambiguous purchases that discovered overpayment and use of unauthorized vendors, and the resolution of these cases led to $10MM in annual savings. The project’s success resulted in a request from executives to present my project approach at town hall meetings for 300 employees. I also drove a critical time-sensitive initiative to increase utilization for a newly-implemented $40MM operations software product designed to improve workflow for operations teams. My work included building a custom reporting solution, adjusting the workflow of ~300 employees, and oversight of change management and retraining. This project resulted in 3x increased system utilization in two months.Other projects I owned included initiating and managing the implementation of a wiki site for better consolidated documentation, and automation and enhancement of financial reporting using SQL and VBA.

I left SunGard to pursue some entrepreneurial projects. I partnered with a friend on successful stock trading that resulted in 100% returns for 18 months, and we investigated expanding that into a fee-based investment service. I also researched applications of AI and deep learning models to securities trading, and I’m currently developing an AI and deep learning community-focused educational site, exercises.ai.I also built a software tool to optimize air travel purchasing for businesses that saves companies ~10% on business class flights.

SunGard provided software and services for financial, education, and public sector clients (acquired by FIS in 2015). As an analyst I served in a client-facing role working with hedge fund Portfolio Managers and Heads of Risk to identify and resolve technical issues in SunGard’s Adaptiv 360 portfolio management software. I also ran Monte Carlo VaR and other risk scenario assessments on portfolios of financial derivatives.

Sioni & Partners is a real estate firm in Manhattan specialized in commercial multi-family property. My sales efforts resulted in becoming the office’s top salesperson and also the top new salesperson for all of NYC in 2011.

Array of Sites built a web product to divert job seeker traffic to school sites. As a Project Manager I led 12 offshore developers and designers to optimize jobdiagnosis.com, a lead arbitrage product. I also led launch for a new product that enabled paid sign-up for mailing lists.
