Life is a sophisticated process. The immune system – defenders of the human being can attack the self in certain conditions. From early onset asthma to narcolepsy, I study how naïve T cell differentiates into groups of allergic or autoimmune facilitating cells. My approach is to examine how gasotransmitter affects T cell polarization at transcriptional level and study TCR repertoire diversity by sequencing. My clinic practice includes diagnosis and treatment for insomnia, central and obstructive sleep apnea, circadian rhythm sleep disorder, rare sleep disorders such as narcolepsy and Kleine-Levin Syndrome. My passion lies particularly in mindfulness based cognitive behaviour therapy for insomnia. Interactions between the mind and immune system are fascinating.
