Pejman Namiranian is an expert in the field of Structural and Earthquake Engineering and having involved in many concrete, steel, LSF, and timber structures since 2009 by being familiar with American, Canadian, European/British, and AS/NZS standards. He has experience in performance-based design & low damage structures utilizing different seismic isolation and energy dissipation devices (e.g. Friction Pendulum System, Lead Rubber Bearing, Buckling Restrained Brace, Viscous Damper, and Friction Damper). He is a fast learner and has excellent communication, problem-solving and time management skills, and enjoys working as a team member.The field in which he has worked mainly relates to applications of conventional and innovative design and construction solutions for seismic designing and retrofitting of various kinds of structures, e.g. buildings (residential, commercial, office, hospital, hotel), bridges, and industrial facilities.Obtained Ph.D., MSc, and BSc in Civil/Earthquake Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, and was graduated with first-class honors during MSc. He has more than eleven published papers in prestigious journals and well-reputable conferences and a few under review.
