I am a recent Biomedical Engineering Master's graduate from Johns Hopkins and a Georgia Tech alum.Through my education, I have gained a solid background in physiology, mechanical and electrical engineering, programming, optics, and robotics. Various projects I have worked on, such as a specialty microcatheter and an ECG-enabled clothing attachment to quantify stress, have taught me about device development carefully tailored to user needs. Also, as an R&D intern at Halyard Health, I was able to explore materials and materials testing as they relate to medical products. My work as a graduate researcher with Weiss Lab/Siemens and a senior developer at Biopicc has provided me with an in-depth understanding of computational image analysis as well.I aim to improve people’s quality of life and reduce uncertainty surrounding severe or chronic diagnoses by tackling medical problems with engineering. I am looking forward to seeing where my career will take me!
