Detail Assignment at Human Development Report OfficeThe mission of the Human Development Report Office (HDRO)/UNDP is to advance human development. The goal is to contribute towards the expansion of opportunities, choice and freedom. HDRO works towards this goal by promoting innovative new ideas, advocating practical policy changes, and constructively challenging policies and approaches that constrain human development. HDRO works with others to achieve change through writing and research, data analysis, outreach and advocacy work.

The Human Development and Capability Association (HDCA) is a global community of academics and practitioners that seeks to build an intellectual community around the ideas of human development and the capability approach, and relate these ideas to the policy arena. The association promotes research within many disciplines, ranging from economics to philosophy, development studies, health, education, law, government, sociology, and more. Investigating the nexus of human capabilities, technology, design and social innovation require contributions from many academic disciplines, since questions in this area touch upon other themes such as governance, individual versus collective choice, participation, power, ideology, culture, values and norms, cognitive frames, economy, and ecosystems. All these also need to be set in the context of global dynamics such as between the global North and global South, as well as between humans and other living beings. As research for human development, it calls for a transdisciplinary approach that also includes non-academic partners for conducting research appropriately. This thematic group aims to stimulate interest in this domain and to this end brings together researchers and practitioners of diverse disciplinary backgrounds for discussion, exchange of information and joint project development.

The Secretary is responsible for Club running smoothly. The Secretary keeps records and correspondence, maintains the club roster. Has custody of the Club’s charter, Constitution, Bylaws, and all other records and documents of the club. The Secretary prepares all Club Officers meetings and keeping minutes.

The Vice President Membership (VPM) functions to make our club guests into club members, and to retain club members. From welcoming members to creating guest packets, this club office is key to keeping membership numbers up.

The Sustainable Tree Growing Fund for Kenya is a project that seeks to mobilize over 42 Million USD to support Kenya's ambitious reforestation efforts. This is a major climate ambition commitment by Kenya in her Nationally determined Contributions Update submitted to the UNFCCC in 2020. The Joint Programme is a nationally driven initiative, uniting stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds in concerted action, with an aim of accelerating attainment of 10% national forest cover in Kenya through sustainable financing, partnerships, improved national resources management and strengthened governance in the forestry sector, as part of Kenya’s commitment to the UN Decade on Ecosystems restoration and other Multilateral Environmental Agreements.Project Coordinator provides management and overall leadership of the project
