The Product Operations BU at Akamai, part of the Product Development Group provides Akamai with the tools, data and standards to launch superior Products in the marketplace and drive coordinated strategic initiatives across our company. Within Product Operations, I lead a quick and versatile innovation and full stack engineering team to design and develop creative software tools to automate and increase the efficiency of our internal processes, this includes product management, design thinking, solution design, research, implementation of engineering methodologies, team buildout and management and hands-on software development when necessary to support the team or just for fun! :-)

I currently have the honor of leading an awesome team of 30+ highly skilled Internet technology experts in various locations across the globe. My main goal is to ensure the timely and efficient delivery and integration of Akamai products with the excellent quality and experience expected of Akamai, while at the same time building out our knowledge and Internet expertise, always one step ahead!

As the manager of the International Media Professional Services team, my role was centered around delivering to key accounts high quality Media/Streaming applications, involving Adobe Flash, Silverlight, enabling the Akamai HD streaming technologies and building media-capable mobile applications for iPhone, Android and other platforms.

In addition to continue to support pre-sales in the Spain, Portugal and LATAM region, I took on the Engagement Manager role, building relationships with key Akamai accounts in Spain, making sure they were getting the most out of the Akamai services, while growing the revenue per customer recommending new services and products.
