As a Head of Design, I understand that my function is making Design breathes freely inside the organization. I should inspire and let everyone collaborate, as a unique team, as much as possible. This way, design gets closer to business, technology, marketing, and other areas. I'm responsible for making the design maturity of the organization grow as a whole, assuming the failures and successes of the segment. It's important to emphasize this perception can change, and I'm very open to discuss it and learn with more experienced professionals. At Shawee, despite being a Head of Design, I also perform as UX/UI (as a whole). I'm very passionate about doing my job, which builds a feeling of being the owner of the company, and that motivates me a lot. I want the success of my organization as much as I want my own. Here, I take care of the product with a team, acting like a PO and PM, which makes design stays in a very deep layer of the business, and that's amazing.
