With an academic and professional background focused on information technology, Pedro began his professional career as a programmer using Microsoft technology, playing a technical pivotal role in various healthcare projects being responsible for requirements gathering and analysis, testing, and technological innovation.In 2003, at Consiste and for the first time, Pedro took on a management role, leading his team throughout a well-defined strategy for innovation, development, and product evolution, which also included policies for team members webskill and reskilling ensuring, when necessary, their subsequent professional advancement. Afterwords, at Glintt, he also assumed a leadership role in the technology and development team, supporting and providing technological insights to all business areas within the organisation, which included SharePoint solutions, support to clients, and defining and managing a strategy for engagement with internal and external stakeholders.In 2013, at Glose, he emerged as a founding partner of Glose, a technological organisational project focused on developing services and solutions for asset lifecycle management, building management, and equipment maintenance management. It is precisely this experience, with an emphasis on defining and managing the organisation’s technological strategy, innovation, and product development, especially in asset management and maintenance management, that enabled him in 2015, along with two other partners, to found Nextbitt, also in this market sector.Currently, as Chief Technology Officer, Pedro is responsible for the technology strategy direction and also for technical leadership in project implementation that effectively contribute to the development of the organisation. Pedro is an active mountain biker and padel enthusiast, as well a devoted cinema fan, never missing an opportunity to spend quality time with friends and family.
