Projects Involved,* TV banking: This was a newly designed, revolutionary method of facilitating financial services that makes use of socket programming, IPTV technology, and a TV as an interface. I, as a team member, actively contributed my skills to develop the system, on the documentation and presentation parts of the project. Moreover, the British Computer Society, Sri Lanka branch awarded us a bronze prize for the National ICT Awards NBQSA 2012 for our efforts. * Mobile banking: an interface to interact with smart phones was created to carry out the majority of online banking operations.* Credit approval system: A web-based system was created to handle credit facilities and automate approvals throughout the banking organization's management structure, cutting the time it took to complete approvals by 90%. * Document imaging system: A web-based program was created to scan documents and store them on a cloud server so that they could be conveniently accessed from anywhere on the bank network. * Front office system: By connecting the core banking system, a web-based application was created to carry out cashier's transactions.* Inventory control system: Developed a web-based solution to maintain the bank’s IT assets.
