In Apple's ProVideo department, I lead the Design team responsible for Final Cut Pro, Motion and Compressor. I built a multidisciplinary team of visual designers, interaction designers and domain experts where I strove to foster curiosity in a transparent culture where risk taking was encouraged.Throughout my tenure in Video Applications, I was responsible for defining user needs and articulating solutions through wireframes, prototypes, presentations and visual explorations. I nurtured feature and app development through to customer ship while iterating, testing and communicating all necessary changes that would improve the end product. I would ensure that the visuals supported the workflow and provide feedback and direction to designers on all aspects of the application’s look, from iconography to layout, color and typography.

Produced, edited, wrote and often shot videos for corporate, news, on-air promos and documentary films. Taught editing and Final Cut Pro software at after school programs at Fremont High School, Oakland and Oakland Tech, Oakland.

Taught general editing techniques as well as specific Non-Linear Editors such as Media 100.

Produced, edited, and shot Videos for news, local TV and corporate and non-profit companies. Clients included BET News, City of Oakland, Yoshi's and Stern Grove Music Concert series.
