Assists with reaserch in the Gustafson Group at SDSU. Is responsible for starting, working up, and analyzing organic reactions in order to create the taylor reagent. Also assists with other tasks around the lab.

I am currently a lifeguard at the Jewish Community Center. I ensure the health and safety of over 50 patrons and work in a team to keep the pool safe. I take pool chemicals and help maintenance keep the pool and surrounding area clean and safe.

I was a Lifeguard, Lifeguard Manager, Swim Instructor, Swim Instructor Supervisor, Swim Coach, and Aquatics Manager at Steiner Aquatics Center. I was in charge of managing the health and safety of over 50 patrons, and working with a team of fellow lifeguards to perform health and safety duties. As a lifeguard manager, I had to manage a staff of over 75 employees, and directly schedule, manage, and be responsible for a staff of 5-10 employees. As a swim instructor, I taught children between the ages of 4-16 how to swim in group and individual settings. As a swim instructor supervisor, I had to supervise the swim instructors while they were teaching lessons. I also had to schedule lessons and was the liaison between the instructors and the parents. I had to match up children to instructors and handle conflicts and communications between everyone involved in the lesson process. As a swim coach, I coached a team made up of around 50 children ages 5-15. I was in charge of planning practice and working with the other coaches to come up with a cohesive schedule. I also had to manage many children at once, work with their parents, and teach them a set of skills that they could markedly improve upon. As Aquatics Manager, I was the liaison between most of the aquatics staff and the facility managers. I had to schedule staff, mediate conflicts, perform pool maintenance, assist with customer service and questions, and help manage the pool in general.
