Still with the desire of keep learning and improving, with the main objective, why not ?, to leave a better world for our children.Penélope López joined Traza Consultoria in 2023 leading the EU projects Area; Traza Consultoria works in social and environmental consultancy, working hand in hand with public authorities and involving citizens in innovative projects in energy communities, mobility, urban space, climate change, etc. During her 8 years at Creara Energy Experts, She coordinated the training and communication department, where she honed my skills in developing and managing educational programs related to energy efficiency and sustainability. This role allowed her to work closely with various stakeholders, raising awareness on energy efficiency practices. Following this, She served as the Director of European Projects at the Association of Energy Efficiency Companies (A3E) for 4 years. In this position, She not only gained extensive knowledge in energy efficiency, decarbonization, and the management of European-funded projects but also developed a deep understanding of the sector and its key players, further solidifying my expertise and network within the industry.Her professional career starts in Ireland, when she joined Cork City Energy Agency (Cork City Council), where she worked for one year. Based in the Cork City Energy Agency, she developed renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, both educational and technical. While she worked in Cork she developed her dissertation on Global Change and Sustainable Development. In 2006 she joined the Mobility Management Consultancy VIPRE, managing a Commuter Centre in a Children´s Hospital in Dublin. Penélope has a vast knowledge of sustainability projects and wide experience of energy efficiency. Most of her experience relating to these fields has been working in education or communication departments but she also has technical knowledge concerning these. She has worked in Schools and Energy and Mobility Consultancy Companies. Penélope, in her free time, has also been part of participation and investigation sustainable energy organizations.She holds a Bachelor degree of Environmental Sciences (Madrid European University, Spain, 2001), And Master in Renewable Energies and Environment (Polytechnic University of Madrid, 2010).
