Through various tutoring roles I have developed a passion for educating adults, particularly in the areas of numeracy, literacy and wellbeing. I am passionate about working effectively, one on one or with small groups of adult learners to enable people to achieve real world outcomes.I believe strongly in the importance of education of foundation skills as a way to improve a person’s participation in the workplace, their community or general education. I understand the importance of empowering and encouraging adult learners and have seen the benefits education has on an adult learner’s life and subsequently the lives of their families and wider communities.
