I work in NWPU as an associate professor from April 2015. My job duties mainly include teaching and doing research. I teach reliability engineering, structural reliability theory, etc. My research subject is 'Uncertainty theory and its application in engineering', which concerns nearly all aspects of uncertainty problems in mechanical engineering and civil engineering. I have just interrupted my work in NWPU, and started my postdoctoral research in Leibniz Uni Hannover.

I currently work in Leibniz Uni Hannover as a postdoctoral researcher, granted by the Homboldt Research Fellowship. My research subjects are mainly on the uncertainty theory and its applications in engineering, including uncertainty characterization, uncertainty propagation, sensitivity analysis, model updating, model verification&validation, reliability analysis, uncertainty-based design optimization, as well as the applications of these theories in mechanical engineering and civil engineering.
