I have been a professional illustrator and storyboard artist for over 15 years. I cut my teeth working for one of the largest advertising agencies in the world (Leo Burnett, in Chicago) and have been a full time freelancer for the last seven+ years. I have worked on comics for Devil's Due and Boom Studios, illustrated a comic strip for Sports Illustrated (through Marvel Comics), worked closely with directors to create storyboards and keyframes for film, created illustrations for online educational courses (through the National Restaurant Association), and have begun writing professionally as well, currently writing and illustrating a comic for the University of Phoenix (part of Phoenix's Patriot magazine). My entire professional career has been deadline oriented, and I see smooth and consistent communications between myself and my clients as an essential part of hitting those deadlines. I enjoy working with people AND working autonomously. No, you didn't read that wrong - both are actually enjoyable. I appreciate the balance. Bettering my craft and aiming to deliver work above and beyond expectations are my goals on every job. I also love new challenges and learning new things. I'd list that as one of my greatest attributes, actually.
