I work one day a week at the George Fox Behavioral Health Clinic receiving training and supervision as well as providing supervision to practicum students. Four days a week are spent at Virginia Garcia providing care as a Behaviorist or Behavioral Health Consultant. 20-25% of Clients are Spanish speaking and migrant worker populations. Most, in not all clients are from a low SES environment.

I provide therapy for children and their families in a community mental health setting. I also co-lead an Anger Management group. Occasionally, I do domestic violence assessments. I led a Baby and Me class for 12 weeks from April until July.

Provided readjustment counseling services are provided to combat veterans, their families and victims of sexual assault. I specialized in couples and family counseling and am gained skills in the area of trauma therapy. I worked toward perfecting my skills in the area of emotionally-focused therapy. I also worked with clients using ACT.

I provide short-term therapy to community members, specifically those who are considered to be Low SES. I also administer testing for cognitive, personality and other areas of need. I co-lead a group on parenting. I work with families, children, adults, and schools. I work under the supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist as I work towards my doctorate in clinical psychology.

I provided counseling services to inmates with issues from anxiety and depression to PTSD and personality disorders. I also led weekly life skills group therapy in the two mental health dorms. Our goal was to alleviate problems that inmates were experiencing while in jail and well as provide skills that would help them in the world outside of incarceration.

Providing supervision and interpersonal skills training to youth between the ages of 11 and 18 in a residential setting. I worked in all three homes, which included an all boys home, an all girls home and a home for boys with developmental disabilities. The goal was to help the youth to follow rules, gain life skills and learn how to get along with others, despite the challenges they were facing.

I enjoy contacting people and creating relationships with colleagues on the phone.I have a working knowledge of all office packages on PCs.
