In the film/video and photography business, I offered creative and producer services to my clients who were primarily video production companies, photographers and ad agencies. Most of clients hired me to manage several areas of production; casting, location scouting, wardrobe styling, propping, on-set stylist, make-up and hair, and production coordinating or producing. I had several assistants over the years and together we managed many fun projects including a dozen Holland America Cruises around the world creating brochure images, hundreds of NW Ford commercials, Infinity car catalogs, Adidas MTV commercials... I enjoyed that business because every job was like going to summer camp. With each project we would join a new creative team and intensely focus on a common goal. At the end of the project, after several days or weeks, we would all say good-bye until the next time... as if leaving camp and returning home.

In-house fashion coordinator for all advertising photography. I attended department merchandising meetings, and developed shooting schedules, hired models, talent, photographers, and managed estimates and budgeting. I collected merchandise, did all pre-production styling and accessorizing of merchandise, location scouting, and managed and styled all of the shoots.I worked with great mentors, photographers, and creatives in the advertising world of Seattle. That was a fun and rewarding job. This was before the day of specialists such as wardrobe only, make-up only, location scout only, producer and so on. So I was doing all of those things and so at such a young age was able to develop many skills for what I do today.

I took care of Ms Gabor's every need as it pertained to wardrobe, styling, planning for outings and appearances, and was also her friend. She was a smart, extremely capable, strong woman. I learned a great deal from her. I only left her employment early because I wanted to be home with my family and terminally ill father.
