Design, Manufacturing and Marketing: Led a five member team in the development of a solar powered skylight from concept, prototype, and potential manufacturing. Conducted technical feasibility analysis, patent research, and a VOC (voice of customer) survey. Visited distributors and potential suppliers. Designed manufacturing floor plan and calculated funding and resource investments and return.Strategy: Provided effective business solutions to Awesco, a $6 MM company located in Albany, NY. Completed a strategic plan, a business plan, and an operations plan. Used MS Project to create schedule and define resources. The team presented the results to Awesco’s CEO, Finance Controller, and Director of Operations. Based on the recommendation, the projected revenue and profit could achieve 110% and 150% growth respectively within five years. This project was named as one of the best MBA capstone projects and won the ‘Science Applications International Corporation’ award in 2004.

‘Outdoor Wood Boiler’ project: Meet with clients, attorneys, and scientists on environmental legislation and regulation cases. Followed up with case complaints and reported status to the senior engineer. Read technical documents and summarized key information for case analysis. Worked with the NYS EPA, DEC, and NYS Department of Health to find best solutions for the environmental pollution issue.

Designed water supply and discharge system, and fire-fighting system in the mega airport projects. Worked with a multi-functional team to design two domestic airport builds and two airports expansion projects. Developed technical documents, including calculations and bill of materials to support design.

Assisted the Project Manager to roll out a worldwide program ‘Intel Teach to the Future’ into China to facilitate the education and application of IT high-tech products. Utilized MS Project to create project schedule and milestones for presentation to the management team. Tracked project expenses against budget.Assisted in vendor selection and business negotiations, and contributed to a $1.5 MM agreement signed with local partners.
