• I worked alongside the head of sales and the wine category development team for Vivas, a joint venture between Bidvest Food Services and Bibendum PLB. • Responsible for the coordination of functions such as Customer Marketing for promotional plans and activation, Design Team and Market Insights for new product development, and Key Account Management for wine lists and tender briefs. • I provided client training sessions and tastings as well as internal wine training courses.• Managed the logistics of all UK delivered, bulk UK bottled and direct delivered stock.• Worked closely with the Bibendum PLB portfolio buying team, designing labels for NPD and exclusive label refreshes. Regular reporting to one or more National Account Managers to ensure smooth running of accounts.Dealing with credit / debit notes, unallocated invoices and financial queries in coordination with customer finance teams.Solving aged debt or credit note issues that cannot be resolved solely by the finance team.Main administration contact with supply chain and finance departments for designated accounts.

As well as running the daily operations of this Fine Wine Shop and hosting weekly food and wine tastings for customers, I was responsible for buying, ordering, receiving and distributing all beverages for the Restaurant, Club and Café at Bluebird. I liaised on a daily basis with the sommeliers and suppliers in order to negotiate lower prices and control stock levels of beverage for all areas of the business. When possible I attended supplier tastings sourcing wines to list in both the shop and restaurant. Since the opening of the Wine Shop in March 2008, I built up a customer email database of some 300 members and organised tasting events with over 80 producers from all over the world.

Responsible for a team of 25 waiters, barmen and chefs in a 180 seater fast moving restaurant. Daily tasks included rotas, service training, ordering via SAP and coming up with innovative ideas to improve business.
