While working as the Department Secretary for the Frye Hospital's Oncology Services Department, my duties included assisting co-workers with tasks including, but not limited to, updating patient profiles, creating and printing labels, mailing out to patients, preparing packets for community events, attending community events, retrieving and distributing department mail, ordering supplies, and I was also in charge of the payroll for our Oncology Services department.

As a CPhT at Prosperity, I worked as a prescription coordinator. My responsibilities included, putting up medication stock orders, filling prescriptions, running new prescriptions and refills through patient's insurance, calling up to 70 customers per day to schedule delivery of their medications, answering up to 50 patient phone calls per day, submitting patient's credit card payments by phone, keeping patient's information up to date, addressing any patient's concerns by putting them in contact with the clinical pharmacist, contacting patient's doctor with any concerns brought to my attention, contacting patient's doctor or nurse for refill authorizations, and contacting the patient's insurance company to address any problems and to save the patient time and burden whenever possible.

As a data entry clerk / document coder, I was responsible for converting information from a document image into a database system accurately and efficiently through data entry. I obtained a government security clearance while working at Ecompex. I also became a member of the Quality Control team within my first two months of employment.
