Drawing on my experience in criminal law and my work with government bodies, I deliver expert advice to clients in a range of sectors. I have expertise in incident response and management, conduct of prosecutions, coronial investigations and inquests, Sentencing Act claims, as well as compliance, advice and training in work health and safety legislation. I also provide ongoing advice to clients on how to ensure employee safety and workplace risk mitigation.I advise general counsel, safety managers and HR managers in the food, logistics, manufacturing, mining, energy, transport and forestry industries. I provide advice on rights and obligations under the occupational health and safety legislation and strategic advice following safety incidents. I also defend prosecutions issued following a safety incident.I have a Bachelor of Arts / Law from the University of Tasmania.Before joining Seyfarth Shaw in September 2020, I was a partner at Sparke Helmore and have previously worked at K&L Gates, Hall & Wilcox and Freehills. I have practised exclusively in the area of work health and safety in Melbourne for more than 19 years and also have extensive criminal law experience.
