All the Small Things CiC is a local hub for Community Organising, community asset sharing and peer mentoring in North Staffordshire.We are a Social Action Hub with the national Community Organisers Expansion programme. We train and support people to reach out and listen to people, connect and motivate others to build collective power to take action for social justice.We coordinate the Women’s Peacemaker project, mentoring women to plan and take action on community and personal safety in Stoke on Trent.Our asset based community mentoring programme offers 1:1 and facilitated peer group mentoring for community practice.We provide Community Conversation workshops to encourage people to help WAVE Goodbye to Loneliness, as part of Stoke on Trent’s partnership approach to preventing loneliness.As partners of St Mark's Church we lead community development work in Shelton, Stoke on Trent to explore and record the rich and culturally diverse history of the area, through an engagement programme of community research, storytelling, intergenerational activities, volunteering opportunities, training, creative and cultural events that reflect and celebrate the richness and variety of its diverse community. We host the 1000 Lives Community Champions Network which brings people together for mutual support and to share skills, resources, knowledge, opportunities and enthusiasm to make North Staffordshire a better place to live for everyone.We are currently using the Open Doors Meanwhile space as a base for Community Organising in Fenton, Stoke on Trent.
