As part of the M&C Saatchi group, I’m a founding member of Yes Agency. A bespoke creative and production agency tailored for the Optus brand. Within a 9-month period we have successfully recruited industry leaders through our professional network, which as a result, doubled our agency team to over 45 people. Multi-talented individuals, who are hybrid with their approach, agile in their thinking and incredibly reliable with their creative output. Leaders in their field who share our vision for success.This is my second collaboration with Elissa Maine, as Head of Broadcast & Motion, following on from our successful time working side-by-side at Sibling. Where we created new ways of working to produce national cross-media, integrated campaigns for the Westfield brand. Our creative and production collaboration is unique. Sibling is a purpose built WPP AUNZ agency solely dedicated to Westfield. I used my expertise to help Westfield define their core brand narrative of Human, Vibrant, Easy and Curated. As Creative Director across Advertising, Media and PR, I communicated and validated it in all stages of the brand experience through Fashion/Beauty/Lifestyle. Across Aus & NZ I achieved superior results and delivered to budget, in a landscape where “Attention Economy” is scare I got cut through with my beautifully executed narratives.

Aunty's House is our own initiated project.(Sylvianne Heim, Simone Ellis and myself)An App that brings together people with a need and people who want to do social good.Created for survivors by survivors, Aunty’s House offers mental breathing space for women caught up in domestic violence.

It's always a pleasure to be able to bring my insight and experience to a project or pitch. To bring some fresh blood to existing teams.

I worked on the global launch for Brand Unilever, creating a social film for them. So far it's received over 20 million views on YouTube. I also produced a TVC for Huggies Pull-Ups, which saw a 367% increase in site traffic during the first week of airtime. And I worked on various global projects for Dove, including several hot-houses in Chicago and London.

I took my first Creative Director role at Dialogue DLKW. As a member of the board I helped to run the creative department and shape the company.The agency wasn’t doing very well back then. It hadn’t made a profit for four years, had outdated systems, no identity and lacked direction. As you can imagine, we had a pretty tough job on our hands but we soon managed to turn things around. We retained the Burger King business, won several million pound accounts including Tena, The AA, eBay and Opel Vectra, and grew the Halifax account. These wins made the business profitable and saw the agency grow from 8 to fifty in the space of a year. We also grew digital business from existing clients even though they already had digital agencies. And we took Dialogue DLKW from an unknown digital agency to a top 20 agency one in NMA (New Media Age).

Next I headed to London and Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO Ltd, where I worked on Sainsbury’s, St Ivel, Whiskas and The Economist. My frustration at all briefs being answered with a 30” TV ad led to me to seek a more integrated agency with a digital offering.

In 2000 I left Auckland to pursue work overseas. My first port of call was Amsterdam’s Kessels Kramer, a creatively recognised agency, where I worked on such brands as Heineken and Diesel.

Looking for something more creatively challenging I moved to Colenso BBDO, Auckland. My work won international creative awards at D&AD, The One Show and Cannes and helped make Colenso BBDO Auckland, Australasia most creative agency in 1998 and 1999.
