Currently Corporate Recruitment Manager for DAI Europe, ensuring that the recruitment process is managed in line with DAI values and current best practice with positions successfully filled in a timely manner. After initially working part-time in the HTSPE Publications Department I transitioned to Project Manager in the Spatial Information Systems Unit. My responsibilities included a) business development - liaising with consultants and partners, contracting, writing of non-technical components of bids, bid assembly; b) project management - liaising with national partners, consultants and field staff and assembly of client reports to facilitate the smooth running of projects located in sub-Saharan Africa, Europe and Asia.From 2005 I took responsibility for managing and maintaining the corporate database of independent consultants and potential project partners; ensuring effective communication with HTSPE's registered consultants and advertising both permanent and contract opportunities on the company websites.Latterly I was responsible for company communications and brand including administration of websites, social media platforms and intranet. Additionally I was responsible for recruitment and contracting for permanent and fixed-term staff in addition to managing communication with independent experts and maintaining the corporate database of consultants and potential project partners.
