Communication plans were established and a regular meeting schedule to ensure management remained informed of all aspects of a given project throughout the lifecycle. These standards and practices resulted in a 95% increase of on-time on-budget projects from the department. Profitability: Successfully led and completed phone replacement project resulting in savings of $130k a year in maintenance cost reductions and reduction of costs moving from PRI to MPLS communication network design. Operations Improvement: Led 3.5 million-dollar, yearlong network replacement project for Iridium’s Mission Network. The project was completed 2 months earlier than projected, under budget, with no impact to mission operations. An already complex project became even more challenging as Iridium was launching new satellites on the network for the duration of project.
