As a committee member for Horizon events, I provide input and guidance into development of the events along with fundraising. I also engage in the Behind-the-Scenes subcommittee to execute all aspects of the events. As a Hospice Companion I have the opportunity and privilege to be able to help patients and their families at the end of their lives. It is the most rewarding volunteer work that I have ever done and I am grateful every hour I get to spend at the in-patient unit.
