I head up the cycling and sports injury team which acts for sportsmen and women including members of British Cycling and the British Triathlon Federation. I have represented elite athletes, as well as those who are club and county level competitors and, increasingly, those who are now commuting to work by bicycle.I have worked exclusively in the field of claimant personal injury law for 15 years acting for injured claimants in high value, complex claims including fatalities, head and spinal injuries. I have a particular interest in how claims can be managed to ensure that the injured person receives appropriate, timely treatment and care to avoid the claims process adding to the injuries sustained. I am also actively involved in campaigning for greater awareness of cyclists, particular in relation to heavy goods vehicles.
