As Senior Partner at SHK Asia Pacific, Penny's leads executive search and consulting across government and public policy for senior executive, board and general management roles. Penny has particular interests in highly regulated environments (including education, utilities and not-for-profit), cross sector transitions, and women in leadership. Penny holds a first class honours degree in social sciences from La Trobe University, complemented by qualifications in business, communications and training. Prior to joining SHK, Penny spent 20 years in senior roles in government, non-profits and consulting. She brings to her search and selection practice broad cross-sectoral networks and a deep understanding of requirements of change and transition in highly accountable environments. As a CEO working in sensitive policy areas, Penny built, developed and reshaped specialist teams and restructured organisations. She also has extensive experience in community organisations, including tenure as a Board member and Chair, and is currently a member of the Victorian Adult, Community and Further Education Board.
