Léo Pensel is a french concert pianist with multiple talents and an artist with a true deep sensitivity.He expresses his piano art by including Classical & Jazz repertoire and composition.As a young, talented and promising pianist, he won several awards and honors in many competition such as: the Lions Club piano competition, the Steinway Cannes competition, the International competition of Île de France, and the Philomuses Price.Léo has already played in many countries in the world (France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Cuba, Turkey, China).Very appreciated, he is invited to numerous festivals such as the Festival de Vence, La Côte Flute Festival in Switzerland, the Moscou Flute festival, Cuba Festival, Philomuses.As a soloist he has given concerts with severals orchestras such as Geneva Chamber Orchestra, Cannes Symphonic Orchestra, Mersin Chamber Orchestra, Istanbul Camerata Orchestra, Havana Mozarteum Orchestra. He plays regularly in duo, trio, quintet and also with singer, flute, violon and in jazz trio.Recently, he has been selected in two academies such as the new « Académie Musicale Phillipe Jaroussky » for young talent artists in Paris and the « Villecroze residency Academy ». There, he performed in la Seine Musicale Hall in Paris and studied with famous artists countertenor Philippe Jaroussky, pianist David Kadouch and Louis Lortie.Collaborating regularly with the Italian composer Armando Ghidoni, Armando choose him as his official pianist for his pieces and dedicated him a concerto called "Magical Concert", which will be recorded with the Belgian recording label "Chant de Linos". He also created the European premiere of Ghidoni’s piano Concerto "Captivating Story" in 2017.
