A dynamic and brilliant technologist with specialized expertise in venture building and product development dedicated to designing and broadening access to solutions that effectively alleviate human pain points. With a notable history of growing brand resonance while engineering innovative strategies that enhance stakeholder satisfaction and drive retention.In 2019, I joined the research project for Mr MACHINERY financed by the famous Matthew Khouri of HMD Africa. In 9 months, I spearheaded market research and product development, to deliver an e-commerce platform connecting local Ghanaian miners to international heavy equipment suppliers. As the project lead and business development specialist, I facilitated local industry partnerships and closed 30+ heavy equipment supply partners across Africa, North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia with fleets valued at over $10,000,000. I also developed strategies to strengthen brand resonance and managed business operations that acquired over 500 new customers to grow the bottom line. After my time at Mr MACHINERY and a career break prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic, I built my first AI startup. MyHairDO is an AI-powered mobile app that helps Afro-textured women find the perfect hairdo for their unique hair characteristics 65% faster. We launched a beta product downloaded by 30,000+ users with over 2 million hairdos viewed on the app. The app was soft-launched in Ghana and gained users across 13 countries globally. In 2023 MyHairDo was acquired by an African Investment company. Some of my most fulfilling work involved volunteering at iSpace Foundation under a Crossroads International mandate. I led a 10-week training program that certified women from underserved communities to intermediate-level proficiency in the major Microsoft Office tools. As a young tech entrepreneur, who has received much from this ecosystem through determination and hard work, it brings me much joy to share my knowledge and contribute to the growth and expansion of this ecosystem to enable it to provide better support for young tech entrepreneurs like me in the future.
