My experience is from the Shipping and the Oil industry. I am graduated as Master Mariner. My present position is Site/Project management at TEEKAY Manager/Construction Manager in a large international shipping company where my responsibilities are to manage new build and conversion projects, involved in feasibility studies, tendering and negotiation with ship yards and suppliers, project execution and construction as well as technical support to business development. I started my carrier at sea in 1975 and raised to the rank as Master in 1988.Have been serving on Car carrier/Bulk carrier, Oil ore bulk carriers/Crude tankers, Chemical tankers and Shuttle tanker as a senior Officer From 1992 to 1997 was changing between working at sea and doing new building and conversion of ships. From 1997 to date I have been involved in building of Tankers, Car carriers, Bulk carriers’ Shuttle tankers and Drill ship. Since 2001 as Site Manager/Project Manager around the world, Japan, Philippines, Spain, Canada and South KoreaIn addition to be a M.M I have also gone thru numerous courses in the field I am working I am a commercial minded and interested in new technology to improve our industry for being ready for the future. My present position is as Project manager. I am receptive for new positions which can support my career development. I am humble when taking on responsibility for new and unknown challenges. However, I feel confident that my wide experience will support strategic planning and decision making. I believe my people-skills are important component pats to further develop my management and leadership abilities.I am a dedicated professional. However, I am fully aware of the importance of balance of life. Taking care of family and friends are important factors to perform as a professional.
